Job Purpose:
- The Global Account Manager would be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic account planning and high-level relationship management. Leverage thought leadership to align services with client needs, lead global sales teams, and ensure compliance with internal controls and business ethics.
Key Responsibilities:
- High-performance global career sales professional focused on managing the sales of products and/or services to global accounts that operate across both domestic and international regions to ensure attainment of revenue and profit objectives.
- Able to leverage thought leadership to position services that are supported by products.
- Formulate account strategies that include detailed account information, decision-makers & influencers, identify strategic business challenges and priorities, and take the lead in analyzing historical information and prioritizing opportunities critical to the account revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain business relationships at the customers’ headquarters/executive level.
- Provide leadership and coordination, directly and/or indirectly, for the locally focused sales teams in multiple countries.
- Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow the organization’s business; executing contracts, account strategies and brand forecasting; and collaborating with global account manager team to execute global strategies.
- Ensure professional sales coordination, account planning and forecast/report sales activity. Must act as designated design, technical or scientific expert and leverage/connect Steelcase resources to develop closer client relationships when needed.
- Provide formal leadership to a selling team (e.g. account-team leader responsibility etc.).
Qualification & Experience
- Business/related degree or equivalent experience required from premium institutes.
- The executive must have 12-15 years’ experience sales leadership / account management experience (preferably 3-5 years in similar global role)
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain key relationships to collaborate with impact with multiple influencers and decision makers (A&D, Real Estate, Contractors, Service providers, consultants…)
- One foreign language is desired.
- Experience of managing premium product category.
