Job Purpose:
- The incumbent would be responsible for leading and managing the Strategic and Operational performance of the Quality function across all the manufacturing sites. Administrating / implementing operational and business excellence activities to meet the organizational goals by maintaining required quality compliances.
Key Requirements and Expertise:
- Likely candidates could be Ex Haliburton, Schlumberger, Baker Huges, Weatherford, CPS, Parker Oil, Wellbore, FMC, NOV, Penguin, MTAR, Sansera Engineering, GTN, Godrej or GE.
- M.Tech /B. Tech Mech / Production / Metallurgy
- Minimum Experience: 20 to 25 years in QA & QC Management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heading QA, QC and Vendor Approval, independently in an Engineering, Process, Manufacturing Company of complex machined parts of Aerospace/ Oil & Gas.
- Knowledge of Raw material, Forging, Rolling, Casting, Welding, Surface treatment (Blasting, coating, painting), Heat treatment.
- Should have knowledge and exposure to all machining process, fabrication and standards like API, ASME, IS, ISO, ASTM, EN etc.
- Should have knowledge of machined components and QC exposure.
- Lead Auditor for IMS/QMS ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc. Knowledge of Six Sigma, Problem Solving using 7 QC Tools, DMAIC, 8D, NPD and GD&T, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, PFEMA, FEMA & product risk assessments.
- Candidate could come from Tier 1 auto component suppliers.
- Should have worked in a company which is into Machining and heavy fabrication or Machine tool manufacturing.
- Should have ideally worked in a company having Low volume & high mix.
- Should have experience of handling the Metallurgy lab. NDT1 & 2, IWE, ASNT, PCN level II Certifications.
- Traceability of each component.
- Understand the special process like Vacuum heat treatment, carburising, ENP coating, Xylon coating, Nitriding, honing, Phosphating etc. Also, coating, Painting and powder coating
- Experience of Incoming Quality of Forging and Casting.
- Experience of Quality Management Systems & Processes.
- The candidate should be street smart, good at stake holder management.
- Candidates working in Singapore and Middle east, open to relocate to Pune can also be considered.
