Key Responsibilities
Management of the department
- Establish and lead the project management team, ensuring high performance and growth.
- Overall responsibility for the Project Management department (incl. technical documentation) at the company (machine projects and organization PD/Factory package units projects).
- Deriving and implementing the strategic corporate goals for the department and the assigned network.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of all projects, ensuring they meet the specified requirements and objectives.
- Overall responsibility for achieving the project targets (budget) in order processing with regard to achieving or improving the calculated project results, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure satisfaction through regular updates and reports.
- Manage interfaces with Sales, Engineering, R&D in the network.
- Defining, complying with and, if necessary, adapting/optimizing the regulations and guidelines.
- Continuous optimization of the organization / interfaces (internal / network) Increased efficiency throughput time.
- Regular contact management of “key account” customers.
- Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans as necessary. (sales and project phase).
- Cost center responsibility,
- Reporting to the company’s management and the Global Leader role Engineering (e.g. sales forecast, identification of risks/claims).

Managing employees
- Manage the department both disciplinarily and technically.
- Define and coordinate tasks; check and discuss results.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Recruit and induct new employees, coordinate remuneration adjustments with HR.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Develop employees in line with departmental strategy.
- Implement training plans for trainees in their area.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Master’s degree in applied science (mechanical, electrical, process)
- Management degree (will be an added advantage
- Age 45 Years
- Advanced experience (> 5 years) in project management of machine and plant business
- Multiple project management in MNC organization
- Intercultural experience in working together with China / Germany is appreciated, cross cultural working, Languages: German would be an advantage
- Willing to domestic travel to customer sites
